Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Are you used to login only with your Username and Password ? Since your password could be discovered by an unauthorised third party there are additional means to secure your account against unauthorised access. One way is using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Cloudomation offers you to enable and use 2FA!

How to enable 2FA in Cloudomation

Click on the User icon and then Edit profile. Then click on Enable two-factor authentication

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

Use any 2FA application of your choice on your phone or other device to complete the process and follow the instructions on the form.
If you want to disable 2FA you can do so the same way (clicking on Disable two-factor authentication) - hopefully, you don't want to do so.

Using 2FA

On Cloudomation you will be asked to enter your 2FA code for the following actions:

  • Changing the password
  • Recovering your account (password)
  • Changing your email address

When requested, simply enter your current 2FA code that is shown in your 2FA application.
